Volleyball Recap: White River Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If White River was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Seattle Prep on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets fell 3-1 to the Timberline Blazers on Saturday. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Despite the loss, White River still got an impressive performance from Ema Froemke, who had 12 digs and five assists. Froemke is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Islee Rebelez was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 digs and one assist. Those 17 digs gave her a new career-high.

White River's loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-5. As for Timberline, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-8-1.

As of now, neither White River nor the Blazers have any future games scheduled.
