Herriman won the last time they faced Riverton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Silverwolves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Herriman had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-13.

Defeat or not, Riverton got some senior leadership from Heidi Gibson and Sofia Gonzalez. Gibson had 21 digs and two assists, while Gonzalez had nine assists and eight digs. Gibson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Herriman's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Riverton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Herriman has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Copper Hills on the 2nd. As for Riverton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Mountain Ridge on the 2nd.
