Volleyball Recap: Menomonee Falls' Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Menomonee Falls can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Hamilton Chargers on Saturday. The Phoenix were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Despite the loss, Menomonee Falls still got an impressive performance from Addie Bruns, who had 24 digs and four aces. Bruns has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Menomonee Falls moved to 33-10 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak. As for Hamilton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 36-8 record this season.
