Preview: Pawhuska vs. Stroud

Pawhuska has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. They will face off against Stroud in a playoff game on Friday. Pawhuska knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully Stroud likes a good challenge.

The Huskies earned some postseason bragging rights after a successful outing last week. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 52-6 victory over Oklahoma Union. Bryce Drummond went supernova for Pawhuska as he rushed for 119 yards and four TDs on 18 carries. Drummond has been a guy to keep an eye on this season; he's played big for Pawhuska in each of their last ten games.

Meanwhile, Stroud entered their matchup last Friday as the heavy favorite, and they fully lived up to expectations. They put a hurting on Warner to the tune of 48-7.

With both teams having displayed their playoff mettle, spectators can expect a high-quality matchup. Keep track of this and all the high school football postseason action on MaxPreps.com.
