Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family extended their home winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Elizabeth Beto. Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Islamic Foundation Chargers 69-20 thanks in part to Beto, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game.
Emma Mudron was another key player, going 6 for 14 on her way to 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Those seven boards gave her a new career-high.
Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Islamic Foundation, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
