Cherokee Bluff won the last time they faced West Hall and things went their way on Monday too. The Cherokee Bluff Bears strolled past the West Hall Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 61-46. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Spartans are ranked 396th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cherokee Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for West Hall, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20.

Coming up, Cherokee Bluff will be playing at home against Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cherokee Bluff knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 26 games -- so hopefully Jefferson likes a good challenge.
