Softball Recap: Lourdes Academy Takes a Loss

Lourdes Academy lost against Palmer Trinity back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lourdes Academy took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Palmer Trinity.

Lourdes Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Valerie Portuondo, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Lourdes Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Palmer Trinity, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lourdes Academy will welcome Ferguson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmer Trinity, they will challenge Mater Bay Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
