Football Recap: Midway Takes a Loss

If Midway was riding high fresh off their 47-7 takedown of Lone Jack/Kingsville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings were outmatched by the Russellville Indians and fell 41-6. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Midway now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Russellville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Midway wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-12 win against Adrian on the 19th. As for Russellville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-16 victory against Affton on the 19th.
