Basketball Recap: Girard Academic Music Program Triumphs

Girard Academic Music Program won against Elverson Military Academy on Tuesday with 44 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Girard Academic Music Program Pioneers escaped with a win against the Philadelphia Military Academy Knights by the margin of a single free throw, 44-43. That's two games straight that the Pioneers have won by just one point.

Girard Academic Music Program can attribute much of their success to Johnny Beaddy, who posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Jovanni Romeo, who had eight points.

Philadelphia Military Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daijon Crawford, who put up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wahhaj Cheeks, who earned 11 points.
