Preview: Berea-Midpark Titans vs. Steele Comets

Berea-Midpark and Steele are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Berea-Midpark Titans will be home for the holidays to greet the Steele Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berea-Midpark will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.

Last Friday, Berea-Midpark earned a 63-51 victory over Avon Lake.

Berea-Midpark had a senior duo take command as Devyn Zahursky dropped a double-double on ten points and 20 rebounds and Austin Clay scored nine points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Those 20 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Dylan (diggy) Maddox was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Meanwhile, Steele unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lorain.

Berea-Midpark's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Steele, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

Berea-Midpark strolled past Steele when the teams last played back in January by a score of 81-64. Does Berea-Midpark have another victory up their sleeve, or will Steele turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
