Morgan Park Academy entered their tilt with Francis W. Parker on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Colonels. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Morgan Park Academy got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 15-25, 25-18.

Isabella Almanza had a dynamite game, getting 20 digs and two aces. Those 20 digs gave her a new career-high.

Morgan Park Academy's record is now 12-2. As for Francis W. Parker, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Morgan Park Academy will venture away from home to take on Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Francis W. Parker, they will head out to challenge Lake Forest Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
