Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Lone Tree's Third in Last Four Outings

It was a proper cat-fight when Lone Tree took on Pekin on Tuesday. The Lone Tree Lions walked away with a 64-52 win over the Pekin Panthers. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Lone Tree is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Pekin, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Lone Tree will venture away from home to challenge Louisa-Muscatine at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pekin will take on Hillcrest Academy in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
