Softball Game Preview: Stratford Red Devils vs. Weston Trojans

The Stratford Red Devils will challenge the Weston Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Stratford fell victim to Bunnell and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Red Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Weston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 15-0 to Brookfield.

Stratford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Weston, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything went Stratford's way against Weston in their previous matchup on Tuesday, as Stratford made off with a 16-2 victory. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
