Lee County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Enloe Eagles a 2-0 shutout. For Lee County, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win Enloe walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Chris Gomez and Carlos Trochez scored both of Lee County's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Looking ahead, Lee County will face off against Northern Guilford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Enloe, they will square off against Wake Forest at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
