Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. Dyersburg Trojans

The Trinity Christian Academy Lions will challenge the Dyersburg Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Trinity Christian Academy and three for Dyersburg.

Trinity Christian Academy lost 16-5 to Collierville on Wednesday.

Greg Carter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Max Richardson was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Even though they lost, Trinity Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Dyersburg came up short against Gibson County on Thursday, falling 7-1. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Dyersburg now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
