Basketball Recap: Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Comes Up Short

Pioneer-Pleasant Vale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Drummond Bulldogs, falling 56-27. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 143rd).

Pioneer-Pleasant Vale's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Drummond, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Pioneer-Pleasant Vale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-22 victory against Cimarron on the 25th. As for Drummond, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-35 loss against Covington-Douglas on the 25th.
