Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Hayden Wildcats and fell 90-21. The Panthers lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 84-42 score last time.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Hayden, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Cleveland will take on West End at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hayden, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Hayden Wildcats duke it out with the Springville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
