Basketball Recap: Smethport Comes Up Short

Smethport lost to Oswayo Valley back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hubbers were outmatched by the Green Wave and fell 73-43. The Hubbers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Smethport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Oswayo Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Smethport is set to square off against their familiar foe Northern Potter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Oswayo Valley will challenge rival Coudersport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
