Volleyball Recap: Etowah Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Etowah unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Alpharetta Raiders on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13.

Coincidentally, Etowah and Alpharetta will both be playing Hillgrove the next time they take the court. The Raiders will head out to face the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
