Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cambridge). Everything went their way against the St. Clairsville Red Devils on Friday as they made off with a 17-5 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won seven in a row.

Cami Moore was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Kenworthy, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Cambridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Cambridge's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-8. As for St. Clairsville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Looking ahead, Cambridge will square off against Sandy Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Clairsville, they will head out to take on Buckeye Trail at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
