Baseball Recap: West Lincoln Takes a Loss

West Lincoln and Puckett squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but West Lincoln had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 11-1. The Bears have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

West Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Puckett, they pushed their record up to 18-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

West Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Puckett, they will take on Mize at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolves 3.8, the Bulldogs 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
