Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 74-17 defeat at the hands of the Gunter Tigers. The matchup marked Blue Ridge's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 20-15. As for Gunter, they pushed their record up to 30-3 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Blue Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gunter, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Gunter Tigers face off against the Rains Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
