Volleyball Recap: Buffalo Grove Takes a Loss

Buffalo Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Barrington Fillies/Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fillies/Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

While Buffalo Grove ultimately came up short, they really made Barrington work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 28-26, 25-13.

Buffalo Grove's record is now 12-14. As for Barrington, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-10.

Looking ahead, Buffalo Grove will challenge Fremd at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Barrington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hoffman Estates on the 15th.
