American Heritage extended their postseason success on Monday against Key West. They came out on top against the Conchs by a score of 6-1. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Mark Aleman tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on RJ Machado, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Joseph Castro, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

American Heritage pushed their record up to 24-6 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Key West, their loss dropped their record down to 20-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: American Heritage beat the Conchs by a score of 9-5 on Tuesday.
