Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Grove Comes Up Short

Pleasant Grove came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Marymount Sailors.

Pleasant Grove's offense was headlined by Molly Mitchell and Lexi Brown, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Marley McCandless and her 16 assists. Mitchell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Pleasant Grove now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Marymount, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Pleasant Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Desert Hills on the 16th. Marymount has also already played their next contest (against Faith Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
