Volleyball Recap: Mount Dora Comes Up Short

Mount Dora saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to The Rock Lions.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14.

Kate Guthrie paced Mount Dora's offense, picking up five kills. Guthrie got some help from Kylee Foster and her eight assists. Cali Farmer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mount Dora now has a losing record of 3-4. As for The Rock, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Mount Dora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Vanguard on the 6th. As for The Rock, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Gainesville on the 9th.
