Volleyball Recap: King Cove Starts off Right with Win over Birchwood Christian + How To Watch

King Cove had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Birchwood Christian Warriors.

King Cove had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-21, 25-13, 25-20.

Birchwood Christian is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King Cove will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sand Point at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Birchwood Christian, after both having extra time off, they and Ninilchik will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th.
