Football Game Preview: Concrete Lions vs. Neah Bay Red Devils + How To Watch

Concrete hasn't had much luck against Neah Bay recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Lions will square off against the Red Devils at 1:00 p.m. Concrete has given up an average of 30.9 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Concrete is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Darrington on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Lions were beaten by the Loggers 52-16. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Loggers are ranked eighth).

Meanwhile, Neah Bay didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Tulalip Heritage on Friday, but they still walked away with a 12-8 win. The victory continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won six in a row.

Concrete better keep an eye on Tyler Swan. He was instrumental in Neah Bay's win, rushing for 100 yards and one score. They are undefeated when Swan posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Jontae Akin got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Neah Bay's record is now 5-2. As for Concrete, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Concrete was dealt a bruising 66-14 defeat at the hands of Neah Bay in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Lions, Makyah Chambers (who rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 123 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 passes) won't be suiting up this time.
