Towers has been away from home for two games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will host the McNair Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Towers will be strutting in after a victory while McNair will be coming in after a loss.
Towers' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Utopian Academy for the Arts 34-0 on the road. Considering the Titans have won three contests by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, McNair was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 38-19 to Social Circle. The Mustangs were down 31-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The win got Towers back to even at 4-4. As for McNair, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Things could have been worse for Towers, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 34-20 loss to McNair in their previous meeting back in October of 2023.
