Basketball Recap: Eastern Drops Highest Score of Season Against Anderson Prep Academy + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rossville, Eastern was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Anderson Prep Academy Jets by a score of 54-41. The Comets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Eastern was led to victory by Gianna Beechy and Kayden Steele. Beechy dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Steele posted 14 points and six boards. Those 13 boards gave Beechy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alannah Alexander, who scored seven points and nine rebounds.

Eastern's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Eastern will host Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they will take on Liberty Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
