Basketball Recap: Harman Comes Up Short

If Harman was riding high fresh off their 56-33 takedown of Heritage Christian last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Harman Panthers took a blow against the East Hardy Cougars on Thursday, falling 85-31. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Harman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for East Hardy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Harman and Highland will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for East Hardy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tucker County at 5:45 p.m. on December 30th.
