Baseball Recap: Southeast Polk Comes Up Short

Southeast Polk blew Northwest out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Northwest got their revenge. The Rams fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Rams couldn't push the score so high this time.

Southeast Polk's loss dropped their record down to 20-18. As for Northwest, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 18-8.

Southeast Polk didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-0 win against Ottumwa on the 8th. As for Northwest, they will face off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
