Baseball Game Preview: Algonquin Regional Titans vs. Leominster Blue Devils

Algonquin Regional hasn't had much luck against Leominster recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Titans are taking a road trip to take on the Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after three games, but that won't be the case come Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Algonquin Regional earned a 7-3 victory over Lincoln-Sudbury.

Meanwhile, Leominster won against Groton School last Monday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Everything went the Blue Devils' way against Westborough as they made off with a 7-0 win.

Leominster's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.3 runs this season. As for Algonquin Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Algonquin Regional couldn't quite finish off Leominster in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
