Recap: West Ashley Wildcats vs. Stall Warriors

The West Ashley Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 87-43 win over Stall on the road. The victory was just what West Ashley needed coming off of a 77-49 loss in their prior game.

West Ashley found their leader in underclassman Damani White, who scored 21 points along with seven assists. The game was White's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mateo Castillo, who scored 13 points.

When it comes to explaining why Stall lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dave-yon Nixon. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Nixon hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games.

Stall struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They are 1-6 when they just don't pass the ball.

West Ashley's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Stall, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

West Ashley will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ashley Ridge at 8:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Ashley Ridge is ranked 83rd, while West Ashley is ranked 58th). As for Stall, they will head out on the road to face off against Summerville at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Summerville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Stall likes a good challenge.
