Softball Recap: Halls Gets the Win

Halls got themselves on the board against Scottsboro on Friday, but Scottsboro never followed suit. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 4-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Alle Wilson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Halls' win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Baylee Cooper, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Another was Isabella Wires, who earned one run and two stolen bases.

Halls' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Scottsboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Halls didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Forrest on the 7th. As for Scottsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Chattanooga Christian on the 7th.
