Basketball Recap: Central Falls to Laurel in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Laurel Spartans on Monday, falling 76-54. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-19.

Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Ezra Jackson, who shot 55% from the field on his way to 32 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Clark, who posted seven points and three steals.

Central has already played their next game, a 59-53 loss against Northwestern on the 9th. As for Laurel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-32 defeat against Blake on the 9th.
