Basketball Recap: Chelsea Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chelsea). In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 47-46 victory over Richman. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 64-50 win Richman walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2019.

Chelsea's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Richman, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chelsea will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Health Profession at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Richman will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Art & Design at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Richman is facing Art & Design at the right time seeing as Art & Design is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
