Football Recap: Western Reserve Takes a Loss

Western Reserve fell victim to Margaretta and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 21-0 to the Polar Bears. Having soared to a lofty 45 points in the game before, the Roughriders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Western Reserve's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Margaretta, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Western Reserve will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Wynford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Margaretta, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Willard at 7:00 p.m. on September 12.
