Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fairfield lost against Mason back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians came up short against the Comets, falling 3-0. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-19.

Kennedy Ostendorf paced Fairfield's offense, picking up ten kills. Ostendorf got some help from Rose Rodriguez and her ten assists. Ostendorf was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Fairfield now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mason, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Fairfield will face off against Indian Hill at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mason, they will welcome Springboro at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
