Basketball Recap: Patton Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Lincoln last Thursday, Patton came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Bunker Hill Bears by a score of 75-72 on Wednesday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2021.

Patton's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Bunker Hill, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patton will challenge East Burke at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Cavaliers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 68.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bunker Hill, they will face off against Maiden at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
