Holdrege starts off right with win over Lakeview

Holdrege gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lakeview Vikings by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Holdrege was the better team in the second half.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of

Nicholas Weides, who scored all three of Holdrege's goals.
Holdrege will head out on the road to challenge Scotus at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeview, they will be playing at home against Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
