Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for St. Charles North

St. Charles North entered their tilt with Glenbard North on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Panthers 10-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-5 on Thursday.

Mason Netcel was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three doubles, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Langdon Straub also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: St. Charles North kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive matchups.

St. Charles North's record now sits at 13-11. As for Glenbard North, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-15.

St. Charles North will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
