Football Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Takes a Loss

Seven Rivers Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Warriors couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Seven Rivers Christian still got an impressive performance from Julien White, who rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Bradley Franklin helped out on the ground, rushing for 90 yards.

Among those leading the charge was Harry Jones, who threw for 114 yards and one TD on only nine passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards (22).

Seven Rivers Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Seven Rivers Christian has already played their next game, a 56-32 defeat against Old Plank Christian Academy on the 26th. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 50-7 victory against Marco Island Academy on the 26th.
