Volleyball Recap: Live Oak Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Live Oak duked it out with Oroville on Tuesday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Live Oak started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 25-11, 25-20.

Live Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Oroville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Live Oak will challenge rival Orland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oroville is set to face off against their familiar foe Gridley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
