Baseball Recap: Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the West Sioux Falcons a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Royals have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for West Sioux, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
