Taft had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They came out on top against the MacArthur Brahmas by a score of 2-0. The Raiders were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Brahmas, so the Raiders were just returning the favor.

Taft's offense was headlined by Baylee Parra and Madilyn De La Garza, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Addison Duarte and her 15 assists. Allyson Rosa controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Several Brahmas players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sadie Becho, who had 12 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Ella McCoy, who had six kills and four digs.

Taft's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for MacArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Taft wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Marshall on the 29th. As for MacArthur, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Industrial on the 29th.
