Basketball Recap: Plenty Coups' Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Plenty Coups was the 73-49 winner over Roberts when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Plenty Coups Warriors came up short against the Roberts Rockets on Friday, falling 60-40. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plenty Coups' defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-3. As for Roberts, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Plenty Coups will face off against Fromberg at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Roberts, they will take on Reed Point/Rapelje at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Roberts knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Reed Point/Rapelje likes a good challenge.
