Softball Recap: Crestwood Beats Charles City for Their Third Straight Victory

While Crestwood didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Charles City Comets on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Cadets have beaten the Comets on their field since June 6, 2023.

The win was the third in a row for Crestwood, bringing their record up to 8-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Charles City, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crestwood beat the Comets by a score of 8-3 later that day.
