After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Musselman, Loudoun County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Potomac Falls Panthers get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. This was payback for the Captains, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Loudoun County's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Potomac Falls, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Coming up, Loudoun County will face off against Loudoun Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Potomac Falls, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on John Champe at 6:30 p.m. on the 28th. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
