Mt. Pleasant extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Payton Niehaus. The Tigers took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 28-0 win over the Adamsville Cardinals with plenty of help from Niehaus, who picked up 185 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.

Mt. Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Adamsville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Mt. Pleasant will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Hickman County at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Tigers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
